Aqueous Diffusion Coefficient Modeling Calculator for ANY Porous Media
This calculator will take the Percent Volumetric Water Content of any porous material as input and compute the Aqueous Diffusion Coefficient in centimeters squared per second (cm2/sec). This MUST be FREE volumetric water content, NO STRUCTURAL WATER. To use this calculator simply input the percent volumetric water content (i.e. 20 percent = 20) in the appropriate text box and then click on the "Compute" button. If you want to do another calculation of the Aqueous Diffusion Coefficient of a porous material click on the "Reset" button and start over.
The above is only a computer modeling equation derived from an empirical relationship that will NOT give you as accurate data as if experiments were performed on real samples, in real time using the UFA Method.
