PIMS using Apatite II - Phosphate-Induced Metal Stabilization (PIMS) is a patented technology that uses a natural benign material, Apatite II, to clean-up soil and groundwater contaminated with metals. PIMS using Apatite II stabilizes a wide range of metals, especially lead (Pb), uranium (U), plutonium (Pu), zinc (Zn) and cadmium (Cd), either in place or after removal from the ground.

Transport Properties of Porous Media (Temp. from -20 to 150 degrees C)
Hydraulic Conductivity, K() - from saturated down to 10-11 cm/s using the UFA (ASTM) and Falling/Constant Head Methods (SA-4/SA-5 proc.). Up to eleven data points per curve depending upon conductivity (5 days). Includes bulk density, water content, and total porosity.		$3200 per soil sample

Saturated Hydraulic Conductivity, Sat K() - Using the Core Saturation Procedure UFAV03-01 and the Bubble Method Procedure UFAV03-02, based on ASTM Procedure D6527. Includes bulk density, water content, and total porosity.		$1200 per or rock or grout sample

Moisture Potential and Retention, () (as per UFA-MP01). Includes fourteen data points from 0.4 to 47 bars, bulk density, and water contents.		$2000 per soil sample

Data Management and Interpretive Report.		$10,000 for up to 10 Samples. Request quote for larger numbers of samples.
Feasibility studies; bench scale, pilot scale, and field demonstrations; site restoration design; waste stabilization; emplacement of permeable barriers; handling of radioactive samples, and other site activities are negotiated as subcontracts under an appropriate vehicle.

Rush Orders: When an order is asked to be rushed it is placed at the beginning of the queue, immediately following the current work order. Rush orders incur a 50% surcharge.
